Welcome to ARKYN, the proudly South African brand powered by caffeine, and mild chaos.
It started when Jarred watched his best mate spend a small fortune on “premium” 4x4 gear and thought, nah, we can do better. A few sparks, several questionable welds, and one slightly singed eyebrow later, ARKYN Adventure was born, building bumpers and off-road gear that real people can actually afford.
Then came ARKYN Outdoor, the side of the family responsible for stainless steel braais that fold flatter than your gym motivation. They fit under a car seat, light up any campsite, and survive more weekends than most camping chairs.
Together they live under the ARKYN umbrella, where innovation meets grinding discs, bad playlists, and the occasional burnt boerie. Every product is tested in real garages, by real hands, on real dirt, because focus groups don’t know what dust tastes like.
And yes, roof racks are coming soon unless the person responsible for updating this section (hi, Jarred) forgot again. If that’s the case, HR (also Jarred) will be having a very serious meeting about accountability and snacks.
We’re not fancy and we’re not huge, but we build things that last, for people who actually use them.

Design, production, marketing, coffee runs , it’s all him. Jarred started ARKYN to prove that you don’t need a corporate boardroom to make quality gear, just grit and a grinder. If you’ve messaged ARKYN, there’s a 99% chance you were talking to him.

A small circle of trusted fabricators, friends, and caffeine-fueled co-conspirators who jump in when things get busy. No suits, no nonsense — just people who love making good things that last.
